New Apple Store in Chicago Gets a MacBook Roof

MacBook Roof

Designed by London’s Foster+Partner and occupies 20,000-square-foot space, this flagship Apple Store in Chicago was started to construct from 2015, featured glass walls and carbon fiber roof, and now it seems like coming to the end of getting the roof.

People in recently found that workers added a giant Apple logo on the roof, with a big Apple logo and make it like an big MacBook, this new look was just removed in a few hours, but it is told that it will come back when the building is completed.

Adding this new look is not the original plan of Apple, but they said that “We wanted the building to be as light and transparent as possible,” Foster+Partners partner James McGrath told the Chicago Tribune.
